The petition is calling on Governor Hochul to tell the truth about poverty in New York, and to meet with directly impacted leaders of the Campaign. RALLY AND MARCH: On May 1, International Workers’ Day, the NYS Poor Peoples Campaign will meet at 10 am at the First Presbyterian Church on 362 State Street in Albany, for a march and rally to deliver the Poor People’s State of the State Petition to Governor Kathy Hochul.
